WEEK 1 - Magic of Science
Let’s make some magic happen! Through a series of hands-on activities, demonstrations, and experimental artworks, campers will become science wizards as they learn about all the ways that science can seem like “Magic”!
For children ages 3 – 5, who must be potty trained by the start of camp.
Participants must be 3 years to 5 years old when the program starts.
Week 2: Building Bigger and Better - Construction & Engineering
How are buildings so tall? What makes bridges stand up? How is it possible to build a tunnel through a mountain? These are the kinds of questions that will be answered through the exploration of introductory engineering and construction concepts. Throughout the week, campers will participate in games and DIY experimentation projects that will develop their problem-solving skills and pique their interest in the engineering field.

WEEK 3 - Futuristic Fun - Future Inventions
Have you ever wondered what kind of amazing technology will change our lives in the future? Through lessons about past inventors, potential futures, and inventions, campers will learn how to become pioneers for future technology! Campers will think creatively to develop innovative solutions and new inventions.
HALF DAY: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
FULL DAY: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
FULL DAY + EXTENDED DAY: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

WEEK 4 - Space is the Place - Space Exploration
What lies at the outermost regions of our solar system? This week will be dedicated to outer space and what lies beyond Earth’s atmosphere. Campers will expand their knowledge of space through music, games, and other interactive learning programming. The week will end in a collaborative solar system model project, where campers can imagine themselves as astronauts!

WEEK 5 - EarthLove
Earth Day can be every day this week. Campers will learn about ecosystems such as deserts, forests, and oceans as well as the animals and plant life that inhabit them. By the week’s end, campers will have a better understanding of what there is to appreciate in the environment and why it is so important to protect the planet and plan for a more sustainable future.

WEEK 6 - Celebrating Cultures - Arts, stories and music from around the world
Bienvenido, ‘ahlaan bik, huānyíng and welcome to our week of celebrating all the cultures that make our community unique. We’re singing songs, dancing around the room, creating art and learning all about our big beautiful world. You’re invited to the party!

WEEK 7 - Full Circle - Culminating Projects & STEAM Activities
It’s time to share all we’ve done! During the final week, campers will engage in activities across all the topics covered during camp and revisit the importance of each week’s theme. Campers will create something to represent the area of STEAM that interested them most, and share what they learned from it!

St. Peter’s School has designed seven weeks of STEAM focused, play-based and activity driven summer fun for campers aged 3 – 5. We will get your children moving, thinking, and interacting with the world around them. Whether we’re exploring the mysteries of our solar system, or celebrating the world’s cultures through dance, we plan to celebrate the season with plenty of outdoor time, foster a love of learning, all while acclimating our youngest students to a school environment.
